What to expect

When you reach out to me, your initial contact will be with my wonderful assistant Danielle.

She will gather some basic information, and will be able answer general, scheduling, and financial questions you may have about my practice.

If it seems we may be a good fit, Danielle can schedule you for a free phone consultation with me.

What happens in a free phone consultation?

Our call will be about 10-15 minutes long. When we speak, I will be interested in learning a bit more about what leads you to reach out for help right now, and what you may be hoping for in potentially working together. I am also happy to answer any questions you may have for me.

If we both decide we may be a good match and you would like to move forward, we will schedule an initial appointment. Danielle will get you set up with initial paperwork and getting started with telehealth.

Finding a good fit with your therapist is essential for therapy to be successful.

There are many factors that can go into this, from practical considerations such as scheduling and financial arrangements to whether your therapist is able to offer the right level of care and expertise for what you dealing with. Just as importantly, at the heart of every good therapy is a relationship with safety, earned trust, and mutual respect. If for any reason either of us decide we are not a good fit, I am happy to provide resources for other clinicians.

Meet Danielle.

Danielle is not only the first point of contact for people reaching out to me, but she is also the ongoing resource to help my existing patients with administrative needs they may have.

“I have been helping people living with illness for over eleven years in long-term care, a family practice, and a specialist office. When I am not working, I am a wife and mother of two beautiful daughters.  I enjoy spending time with my family, which also includes a lot of animals. I enjoy all things crafting! I enjoy using resin, making jewelry, custom tumblers, and other cups, signs, and many other crafts. I look forward to working with you.”
